About Birchrest Homes

Owner Steve Kowalik started in the building industry at a very early age working with his father building custom homes and townhouses.  He established Birchcrest Homes, Inc. in August 1983 and has been building in the Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho area ever since.  Over the years his projects have ranged in size from 1,200 square foot studios to 10,000 square foot estates, small commercial projects and a wide array of remodels and additions.  He takes great pride in continuing his father’s legacy of precision craftsmanship, personalized service and exceptional quality.

About Erin Mulhern Designs

Erin Mulhern has been working in the construction industry for over 20 years as an accountant.  Several years ago she returned to school to follow her passion for design.  After receiving degrees in residential and commercial design, she teamed up with Birchcrest Homes in an effort to expand the construction business to include interior design services.  She collaborates with Birchcrest Homes on various projects, and is also available to work independently on new construction, residential remodels, and small commercial projects.  Erin enjoys creating distinctive environments to inspire and enhance her client's lives.
